- Regarding a future reset, it's my understanding that: 1) a reset is possible, 2) devs are trying to avoid a reset, 3) nothing has yet happened to indicate that a reset will be needed.
- You can move from location to location on a planet whenever you want. Although may be differences in enemies, there isn't really an any difference in difficulty or rewards. For planets, the rule of thumb is to get the ship for the next planet whenever you can.
- You can make an additional guardian whenever you reach lvl 99 on your current one.

- Welcome new guardians! If you haven't already, please read what the [help] and [coc] pages have to offer. Need more assistance? Ask in Global Chat and our friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable community is more than happy to assist you!
- Farm quick kills to earn Strange Coins. Farm missions to earn Vanguard Marks. To farm xp/glimmer, you have 3 options, ultras with your heavy and extra-damage super, lowest white primary against your biggest payout mob, or normal grinding.
- Added wiki link to missions guide.
- Click the pictures for the bounty that you are on and it will bring you to their Grimoire page. Underneath that picture, you will see their spawn location. If you click the pics before accepting the bounty, you might be able to group 2+ bounties together.
- Xûr exotic weapons and armor are community infused items that all players can enhance and reap the benefits. Buying Xûr items cost strange coins. If you have the coin and if the item increases your stats, it could be a worthwhile investment. The risk of community infused items is buying an item with little or no infusions, when any player with the item may infuse whichever stat they choose (for better or worse). Make good decisions.

- What happens on your account is YOUR responsibility ([coc] #10). By playing this game, you agree to abide by the rules. The vanguard are here to enforce the rules, whether you agree with them or not. There are three types of bans. Chat Ban - You can play the game, just can't chat for a period of time (hour, day, week, permanent). Leaderboard Ban - you can continue playing the game, but you cannot appear on the leaderboards. Game Ban - you have committed a serious violation of the [coc] and you will not be allowed to continue playing.
- Rearranged from original, and LB ban added.

- You're automatically entered into the lottery if you've been online in the preceding hour. You can win a random amount of glimmer, or a few Strange Coins if you have over 1 billion glimmer.

- Generally speaking, if you're a high enough level to travel to where the PE is located, a clickable banner will appear in orbit/patrol. You need to have the appropriate ship to travel to that planet, and enough LP to access the event area on the planet. Given this, whenever you click the banner, it’ll transport you to the location of the Public Event.

- The numerals refer to their "tier". For any given enemy, the higher the tier, the more damage they can take and the more damage they can deal. They'll also be more rewarding in XP, glimmer, and grimoire points. Note that a T5 of "Enemy A" may not be as tough/rewarding as a T1 of "Enemy B".

- Yes, you can sell engrams by going into your inventory, scrolling to the bottom, and then clicking on "Go to sell Items". Now, while this can be fairly lucrative early in the game, it's not necessarily the best thing to do with your engrams. They'll be quite useful in leveling up your cryptarch rank, which will in turn, benefit how "good" your decodes can be.
- Areas are now zoned by guardian levels. There are 6 zones: 1-19, 20-39, 40-59, 60-79, 80-98, 99.
- Chests vs level zones: At each new level zone, additional chests are unlocked. All chests can spawn in all areas, except The Farm.
20-39: Small Chest, Medium Chest, Small Material Cache, Common Engram Cache
40-59: Large Chest, Medium Material Cache, Uncommon Engram Cache
60-79: Large Material Cache, Rare Engram Cache, Single Core Box
80-98: XL Chest, XL Material Cache, Legendary Engram Cache, Double Core Box
99: Mega Chest, Mega Material Cache, Exotic Engram Cache, Triple Core Box- trimmed to fit 500-charcter max in global chat

For the reskin:
- Keep working to get to lvl 99, increase your light to 20k, and your cryptarch rank to 99 (in that order).
All generated gear (from Xûr and decoded engrams) will be removed, and replace with new gear. Khvostov (starting gun), event gear, and gear from the hunter/warlock/titan vanguard or vanguard quartermaster are unaffected. Guardians lvl <99 will receive a new set of legendary gear, and guardians lvl 99 will also receive a set of exotic gear.
